Being a Lutheran does not save a person: Christ does! However, a proper understanding of whom God is and His direction for our lives, are essential for life, both here now and in eternity. As Lutherans, we firmly believe that the Bible is God’s Word through which He still speaks to us today. As Lutherans, we evaluate and understand all life through the lens of God’s Word and we rely on His Word for the power to combat temptation and sin and claim our victory in Jesus Christ. As members of Saint Mark Lutheran Church we also look at our Christian faith as a lifetime of growth and maturity.
