Church membership is not a status symbol or a goal to achieve, rather it is the recognition of God's grace shown to us and our response (Christian discipleship). Living our faith in Christ is not easy as it requires daily exercise in God's Word in addition to fellowship with Christians in worship and prayer. In order for each member of our Saint Mark ohana to mature in their faith walk with the Lord we have establisehd four personal measurable areas of growth. Worship: Meeting our God in His Word and Sacraments as He comes to us and we respond through our gifts as Usher, Elder, Acolyte, Adult Choir, Organist, Contemporary Worship Team and Band, Altar Guild, Board of Fellowship and Outreach, Prayer Warriors, Greeter, Preaching, Keiki Message, Media Tech, Chapel Leader, Special Seasonal Worship Services, Seder Supper, Portals of Prayer and Daily Bread Daily Devotionals.

God's Word: Listening to God speak to us through His Holy Word in Keiki Church, High School Youth Study, Youth Quest (Junior Confirmation), Adult Bible Class, Christianity 101 (Adult Confirmation), Senior Study, "Bad Girls of the Bible", Small Group home ministries, Portals of Prayer and the Daily Bread Daily Devotionals, Online Devotions.

Service (Sacrificial Living): As disciples of Jesus Christ we give ourselves in service through our Food Bank, Family Promise, Choir, Youth Group Service Events, LWML, Board of Fellowship and Outreach, Trustees, Contemporary Worship Team and Band, Tithing, Saint Mark Work Days, Altar Guild, Board of Education, Keiki Church.

Intentional Relationships: As the body of Christ, we build one another up in love and faith through participation in Keiki Church, Family Game Nights, Junior High Youth Group, High School Youth Group, Softball, Sunday and Wednesday Fellowship and Potluck dinners, SMLS Family Nights, Choir, Food Bank, Family Promise, Contemporary Worship Team and Band.
