Come Grow in Service (Sacrificial Living):

Food Bank- Every Saturday from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. the ohana of Saint Mark distributes food to those who have need. Thanks to the generous support of our members and fellow Christian churches on Oahu we are able to provide for the needs of those the physical blessings that we have received from God. We can always use more hands and bodies to serve the many and to prepare the food for distribution. Please contact Katie Shirley or the church office for more information.

Family Promise- Family Promise of Hawaii has the mission to aid families in homelessness and help them transition to sustainable independence and Saint Mark has been blessed to provide housing, meals, and friendship for the families. Our participation is on a quarterly cycle based upon the school calendar but there is always a need to serve whether it is at our location or another congregation on the windward side. LWML - The mission of Saint Mark is to extend the love and care of Jesus Christ to all people and the women of our congregation do just that through their mites and service. In October we celebrate their ministry on Lutheran Women's Missionary League Sunday. Come join us for a wonderful day! Mite Boxes are gathered the third Sunday of each month. Thank you for donating with your change and bills to promote mission projects selected by the National LWML. By combining all of our spare change we can accomplish great things! Outreach- Every single one of our ministry areas, from Keiki to senior citizen, incorporate missions and service to others so that they would know the love and care of Jesus Christ through us. Follow the monthly newsletter, weekly bulletin, and church calendar for specific outreach opportunities.

Saint Mark Choir- Directed by Mary Uhlig, meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Do you love to sing? Would you like to improve your singing ability? No previous musical experience is necessary, just a desire to share your musical gifts. Saint Mark Choir sings every Sunday at the Traditional service and warm up our voices at 8:00 a.m. Plus there is the benefit of the annual choir Christmas party and the summers off.

Music and Praise- Led by worship leader Tanya Pescht, meets every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for a time of prayer and praise to God and to prepare for the upcoming Sunday 10:14 Haipule. We love new instruments and voices so bring yours and join us for a jam session as we praise God.
