Come Grow With Us Christianity is not an individual action but a community activity as we grow together in Christ. As the ohana in Christ we seek to grow in intentional relationships with one another, loving, encouraging, and forgiving one another as the brothers and sisters in Christ that God has joined us to be.

Keiki Church –This is not only a time to grow in the study of God’s Word but also to mentor and teach the Christian faith and life to the youngest among us. Aunties and uncles assist in the lessons, crafts, and games are usually left with fond memories and painted-gooey joy-filled experiences, especially if it is Vacation Bible School. Youth Group – This is Hawaii, so the beach and waves are always a part of our activities. However, Biblestudies, lock-ins, Wii nights, movie nights, dodge ball, ultimate Frisbee, Blind-Man’s tag, Mafia, and lots of other outdoor games also part of our life together.However, life is not all fun and games, we also strive to serve others in our community and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Softball– The windward side of Oahu has an excellent church softball league and the Saint Mark ohana has done very well each year. Headed by coach Rick Firchau the softball season extends from the summer through early fall and games are played at the Kailua fields. Bring your mitt and come ready to play.

Game and Family Nights –From Oktoberfest celebrations to the sharing of a traditional Jewish Seder meal we love to party with food. The Board of Outreach and Fellowship strives to create activities for all ages such as playing Bunko, watching movies in our worship center, and the annual decorating of the Saint Mark Christmas Tree. Between Worship Services – Since we have two distinct Sunday morning worship services it would be easy to become two distinct churches. However, we are one body of Christ in communion with one another so we have a special time of fellowship around the universal Lutheran beverage of choice, “coffee”, on our front lanai. If you feel more comfortable in the Traditional Worship plan on staying after and if you enjoy the style of the 10:14 Haipule then come early. On special occasions we also incorporate breakfast snacks and Hawaiian potluck pupus. During the season of Advent and Lent we gather for potluck soup dinners prior to our special seasonal worship services.
